Walter W. Messenger has represented hundreds of injured victims in Ohio trial courts throughout his career. He has a wealth of experience trying cases before juries and settling claims before trial and has been very successful in fighting insurance coverage disputes on behalf of injured victims. Walter was named as a Rising Star in the 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 by Super Lawyers magazine. He is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum as a result of resolving two cases each for over $1 million.

 Raised in Wayne County, West Virginia, Walter moved to Columbus, Ohio, as a teenager. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, served aboard aircraft carriers for four years, and experienced the proud opportunity to serve aboard the U.S.S. John F. Kennedy during operation Desert Storm. Walter received his honorable discharge and went on to obtain his Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Dominican University in Columbus and his law degree from Capital University Law School. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, Ohio Association for Justice, Central Ohio Association for Justice, Ohio State Bar Association, Columbus Bar Association, Lifetime Fellow of the Ohio State Bar Foundation, Lifetime member of VFW Post 4719, and a volunteer for the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Association of Franklin.
